These are not ordinary domain names.
They are authority assets.
They carry instant credibility, national identity, institutional weight, and extraordinary versatility.
DistrictOfColumbia.com could become a major platform for politics, public policy, advocacy, elections, lobbying, government affairs, media, and civic engagement — sectors where billions of dollars are spent every election cycle.
But it is not only political.
Washington, DC is also one of the most important tourism and convention destinations in the United States. The city welcomed more than 27 million visitors, with visitor spending approaching $12 billion annually. That creates a powerful case for DistrictOfColumbia.com as a travel, tourism, events, hospitality, business, and cultural platform.
And then there is TheUnitedStates.com.
Politically powerful? Absolutely.
But in my view, its potential is far broader.
TheUnitedStates.com could become a national media platform, a travel and tourism gateway to all 50 states, a Made in the USA marketplace, a hub for American products and services, a resource for relocation and real estate, a platform for America 250, and a serious destination for foreign companies, investors, family offices, and institutions seeking a trusted footprint in the U.S. market.
Foreign direct investment in the United States is measured in the trillions. The United States remains one of the most important markets in the world for capital, commerce, tourism, technology, manufacturing, media, and influence.
That is what makes these names so rare.
They are not narrow brands.
They are platforms.
They can serve media, politics, travel, tourism, investment, commerce, education, Made in USA initiatives, economic development, international relations, and national storytelling.
I believe both are appreciating digital assets with far greater potential than their current undeveloped status reflects.
But I also recognize that assets of this caliber need the right ownership group, the right capital, and the right development vision.
Both are available.
Both are conservatively priced.

If your organization, client, fund, media group, political platform, tourism group, economic development organization, foreign investment group, or family office understands the long-term value of category-defining digital real estate, I would welcome a confidential conversation.
Some digital assets are addresses.
Others are destinations.
These two were built to become destinations.
